You can definitely hear the influence of my student years at California Institute of the Arts (Valencia, CA.) in this piece where I studied world music and dance with teachers from West Africa, India and Indonesia.

"Chance" begins as a tone poem which takes you on a visual journey along the coast, transforming in to the exuberant and celebratory section I call "The Dance of Life", transporting your ear to an exotic local. There's something really refreshing about this song - like taking a mini audio vacation!
